If we heard the word ‘Plantungan’, it is associated with Buru Island. It gives us the idea of a place where people were exiled. But for quite sometime after that, the word ‘Plantungan’ was still associated with PKI (Indonesian Communist Party). But there are still memories of it, apassionistic memories, memories of suffering.
